Setting up your tables lets you run your floor from your POS - open a tab against a table, send orders to the kitchen, and print the bill for the right table. Each table also gets its own QR code, so your guests can order from their seat.
This article is written for dine-in restaurants - full service restaurants, pubs, cafes with seating and anywhere your guests order at a table. If your customers order and collect at a counter, please read How To Set Up A QR Menu instead.
Before You Begin
Tables need the Restaurants plan. If your plan does not include it, the Add button is disabled and you will see an upgrade prompt. Please read Subscriptions.
It helps to have your floor plan in front of you, so you can name your tables the same way your staff already refer to them.
Step 1 - Login
Login to the web app with your email and password. If you do not have an account yet, please follow Registration. If you have forgotten your password, please read Login.
Step 2 - Create Your Organization
An organization is your restaurant. Everything you enter - products, tables, orders, settings - belongs to it. Skip this step if you have already created one.
Select I am a Business Owner, then click Get Started.
Fill in your country, company name, website and full business address. All the fields are explained in Create Organization.
Click Complete Setup.
If you run more than one restaurant, please create a separate organization for each one. To learn more, please read Organizations.
Step 3 - Add Your Menu Items
Every item on your menu is a product. You can create an unlimited number of products under any subscription.
To add items one at a time, please follow Add Products. Name and Price are required.
If your menu is already in a spreadsheet, you can import it in one go. Please follow Add Bulk Products and save your file in CSV format.
India merchants are taxed per product. Please read GST Overview.
Step 5 - Add Your Tables
Select your organization.
Select Settings -> Restaurants from the left hand panel. All your tables are listed here.
Click the Add button.
