  1. How ExpenseHut Send Money works?Expensehut is integrated with PayPal to help you send money to anyone within the platform.
  2. Do I need the PayPal app installed on my phone?No. Our mobile app will prompt you to login to your PayPal account to authorize the transfer.
  3. Can I send to anyone?Yes but they must be a registered user at ExpenseHut. It's free!
  4. Does ExpenseHut app store my PayPal credentials?No.
  5. How fast can I send money?Transfer speeds depend on the account you use within PayPal. You can watch the status of your transfer in ExpenseHut.
  6. Are there transfer limits?Yes. $100 per transfer.
  7. Can I request to raise this limit?We are currently working on allowing customers to request to raise. We will inform you when it is ready.
  8. Is this available in all countries?This is only available for US customers now. We are actively working on to support other countries including Australia, UK, Mexico and many others.

  10. How do I receive money?The funds will be sent to the recipient's PayPal account. If the recipient does not have a PayPal account, they can create it anytime with the same email address used in ExpenseHut. We recommend users to set up their PayPal profile to US to receive hassle free transfers.
  11. The Transfer still shows Processing. What should I do?Transfers usually happen within few minutes but can take upto 24 hours. There can be delays when your PayPal account is not verified. In case of delays with ExpenseHut you will be notified as soon as possible.
  12. What is ID Verification?Send Money feature can be accessed only by US customers who have confirmed their ID verification. This is to ensure we do not violate policies with local and federal laws with fraud and money laundering. Learn More
  13. I have received money in a different currency since my PayPal account profile was set to another coutry. What should I do?To claim the money you must switch your PayPal account to US. If you are unable to do so for any reason, please notify the sender to reach out to us to cancel the transfer.
  14. How do I cancel Transfer? Are there fees?

    Certain transfers are eligible to cancel. There is 20% fee charged to the sender. To do so please file a ticket in Hub.

  15. Does ExpenseHut store our ID documents?Yes. This is to ensure we have a record of authenticity of our customers who uses Send Money.
